Hola

Ok, I have a Mac Pro, 64 GB memory and PremierPro 25.1
My questions is about MOGRT's
Are these "Babies" always take a huge time to render?
And, if I move, place or take out ANYTHING, the Evil RED LINE, appear on top ...
There is ANY work around this?
or
This is how it works?
What or how do you use these if you use it?
Help plis !!!

Hi @,

Thanks for the message. It sounds like you are having trouble with the time it takes to create video previews for your motion graphics templates. What kind of MacPro is it? Perhaps someone from the product team could take a look. @Theresa Rostek, can you take a look? I hope we can help you solve this. Sorry for the issue.

Thanks,
Kevin

Hi @Daniel Ulysses,

Mogrts are essentially After Effects projects you can control from within Premiere Pro. They can be slow depending on

  • your hardware
  • if your media cache needs to be purged
  • but mostly due to how they're built

I can get into optimization tips if you're comfortable working in After Effects.

Some things you can do from Premiere Pro

  • Drop your playback resolution to 1/4
  • Customize your mogrt and then render in and out points
  • But customizing your mogrt and right click on the mogrt clip, Render and Replace will be your best bet. For safety, first copy the mogrt to another track, Render and Replace, and hide the visibility of your live mogrt track

But if even the most barebones simplest mogrt is causing you playback issues, or if you mean that changing anything in your timeline is affecting your mogrts, then there could be a greater issue at hand here. Let me know if the above workflow tips help you out or if you want to delve into optimizing mogrts.

Cheers,

Theresa
