Replace Footage not syncing up properly

I'm having an issue with the "Replace Footage" function. My current workflow is I do cuts with my raw footage and I edit everything while someone else colors the footage on a different machine. Once the coloring is done, they export the files as regular mp4s. I then simply use the replace footage option to import the colored clips into my project and all of my sequences retain their edits just with the colored files instead. For some reason, I'm having one file that is out of sync when you do the replace function. All of the other files work just fine in this project, and if I import the colored file as new footage, its identical in length to the raw footage. The timecode settings from the color exports were all the same and it worked for my other clips. What am I missing?

I'm running premiere 23.5.0 Build 56 on a windows 10 machine with a intel 13900k, RTX 4090, and 128GB of DDR5 Ram

I have used proxies in the past (when premiere 23 was first released and anytime footage was relinked it would restart the clip at each edit) but that adds extra steps to the workflow and it is easy to forget to export with proxies. I just want this method to work
