Hi,

I've edited a video and in the main sequence there is an mp4 file, you can replace the mp4 with another mp4 from "projetct" -> "replace footage", but is there any way to replace the mp4 with an existing sequence?

If the duration of the sequence is not the same as the clip, you can do a 3-point edit ... mark In on the first frame of the clip on the timeline, then Out after the last frame. Open the sequence in Source monitor, mark In in Source monitor on the sequence beginning, hit the period key to Overwrite.

Should take the entire sequence, and replace the clip.

Guys, it's not possible what you say, because the video is already edited so I can't just basically replace on the timeline

It is not clear what you want to do then. So I'm guessing .... you've made several cuts to a longer clip, and used them on the timeline.

And now you want to replace those bits with bits from another clip?
