Ripple Delete No Longer Working

Hello! I'm editing a video and after updating to the latest version of Premiere 2025, right-clicking to bring up the Ripple Delete option glitches out. The negative space in the timeline is selected for a moment, but it de-selects itself before I can actually click the "ripple delete" function. clicking this function after the negative space is deselected does nothing.

Welcome to the Premiere Pro forums and sorry you are experiencing issues. We need a few more details to try to help with the problem, like operating system and hardware specs. Please see, How do I write a bug report?

Can you share a screen-recording of this happening or a screenshot of your sequence timeline? Have you tried this in other sequences?

Are you able to select the negative space and use the keyboard shortcut for ripple delete, "Shift" + "Delete" (unless you have it mapped out differently)?
