Saving Clips for later

I don't understand how a lot of ideas have not occur to the devs of Premiere Pro. Do they even use Premiere ? Ever?

Some times you edit a footage and not necessarily use all of it, and while some of the cuts you made are decent you can not save them for later.

Maybe when I hide a layer (v2) not render the duration of the hidden layers so i can do that.

Hi,

Sorry for the trouble. You can copy the clips to a new Sequence and save them to a new project for later use. You can also select specific sequences while importing a Premiere Pro project to your current Pr project. You can disable clips (Shift + E) if you don't want them rendered in your preview without toggling off the track output. I hope this helps.

Thanks,

Ishan
