Says saved in an older version, but everything is up to date.

Whenever I save or export my vid and go back to watch it, I get a message saying it was saved in an older version and cannot be found.  However I check that everthing is constantly up to date.  Also, the media encoder isn't popping up so all-in-all I'm hella late turning in a project.  So, am I doing this wrong or is the program just messing my whole week up?

You're going to have to spell it out better, because nothing is registering with what you have written.

Save as in I pressed Save and start watching the timeline in PP?

Export as in I think I'll watch it in VLC or Potplayer?

You may be doing it wrong, but for sure you aren't explaining it well.
