If I'm understanding you correctly you want to scan something and have it brought into Premiere.

You can bring in most picture formats into Premiere. You would have to export to a picture then import it into Premiere.

 you scan you find it on your mac the you try to figure out how to get them to adobe go to files folders you open folders nominfo the about importing. from scanner.

 

I have 1500 photos to scan

tried that did no work, so I am scanning through my canon printer to USB stick and it works, put that in mac and okay bit annoying. but gets you there.
