It's a wordy explanation below, so here's my request upfront:
Can mouse scroll areas/boxes on the "Window" menu displays be locked until a mouse "click" unlocks them for scrolling? Or, can this be a preference yes/no toggle?
The backstory:
Within the Premiere Pro CC top window menu display selections, i.e., Effect Controls, there are several "mouse scroll areas" or rectangular boxes (please forgive my lack of proper nomenclature), such as [Source Text] or [Text] where one can place their mouse cursor in that area/box and use the mouse scroll wheel to quickly move through the list of fonts; while at the same time the font affected within the graphic on-screen (or whatever) changes with the scrolling. This is an expedient feature that normally I like. However, I also use my mouse wheel to scroll up and down the scroll bar on the right of the particular window menu display (again, the Effect Controls). And if, by chance, my mouse cursor is somewhere within the active display of the Effect Controls while I use the mouse wheel to scroll up/down the scroll bar -- and the mouse cursor comes into the "Source Text" selection while I'm scrolling up/down, it starts to scroll through the Source Text (font) list -- and I don't see it until it's too late, resulting in the font changing with the scrolling. So.... see my request at the beginning of this discussion/question. Thanks.
