Version: Premiere Pro 23.6
Platform and OS: Mac Studio M1 Max 64GB, macOS 13.5.1
I found out a 30-min long timeline is so laggy on Premiere Pro 23.6. It was massively lagging and unresponsive for just scrubbing, scrolling, zooming in/out, or selecting a clip, the whole app was unbearable to use. Although, playback was smooth, but clicking the space bar to play / pause the preview was extremely delayed. In contary, I've tested on 2-3 minutes timeline, it had no performance issue.
I downgraded to Premiere Pro 23.5 instead, the 30-min timeline and project become smooth again, with only little to no lagging on scrubbing timeline and responsive playback control. So I am sure the problem come from the latest version 23.6.
Hoping for an investigation and fix the issue.
