Selection Follows Playhead toggles itself automatically

Hello.  I do not like the function "Selection Follows Playhead".  After I dump media cache, it usually checks itself back on but it was easy enough to uncheck under sequence>selection follws playhead.

But now it seems to keep checking itself back on.
