Sequence not showing

When clicking on effects my video sequence is gone and it shows this channel for music instead with two options of "solo left channel" and "solo right channel" Help would be greatly appreciated!

Go to Window > Timelines?

If you closed the timeline, double click on it in the Project panel.

When you get it the way you want it, save the workspace as a custom workspace.

Hey, did you resolve this issue? If so how? This is happening to me right now and it's driving me crazy. I can see my sequence and all but when I double click on it, it only opens in Monotor in Program. I have the weird audio meter instead of where the video and audio channels of the timeline are supposed to be just like you!! Please let me know if you managed to fix it!!

Windows > Workspaces > Reset to saved layout.
