Sequence panels not jumping to active sequence in window

In the latest version of Premiere Pro 24.5.0 that I have when I have multiple sequence panels open in a window. and use the >> icon to move view and between panels not visible in the window due to space at the top of the window, the sequence shows up in the window, but the panel name and tab does not always shift to that selected panel.  IOW, if I have 20 sequence panels open in one window, the panels are tabbed along the top of the window.  Some are not shown due to space, and a double >> arrow icon provides a way to see the rest in a list that appears when selected. If I choose a sequence in that list not shown in the window tabs, it jumps to that sequence, BUT the actual tab is not always shown at the top of the window like previous versions. So there is no way to move it to a new sort position in the window.   Moving and changing the window size sometimes resolves this problem.

This is a screen resolution issue in that a work around is to close panels to make the remaining panels fit in the top of the window, or extend the window across multiple monitors to make the space at the top larger.

Does not seem to affect editing or any other functionality.

Hi, it appears to be a workspace issue as you suggested.  By resetting the workspace I was able to get the window to respond to selected sequences.  That seems to be the fix. I had not encountered this before. It was really just that window. I like to have a sequence window on one monitor and multiple windows on the other.

@dbeaty2,

I tested in 24.5.0 (and Beta 25.0.0.18) - Win10. It is working as expected for me.

When odd thing happen, Resetting the Workspace and, if unsuccessful, Resetting Preferences, may be helpful. I recommend resetting the workspace first, because it has very little downside. Also, resetting preferences does not reset the Workspace, and Workspace settings may be importing from the project.

If you reset preferences without being prepared, you can lose customization. See this page to avoid those problems:

Hi Mo, I had to expand the window across two screens to make the sequence visible. When I resized it back to screen size, it began working again.  So related to workspace.
