I apologize if I do not get the terms correct or if this topic has been addressed somewhere else, I may not be using the correct terms to find it.

I am attempting to update a project that worked what I would say properly from last year. When I open the "master" sequence I see all of the used sequences, I can open and edit those sequences. If I create a new sequence or even drag down a sequence that is already in the "master" sequence, either one will display all of the content instead of just a single "asset" in the Timeline. I have looked here and YouTube without finding any help. Time is getting short for this project to be completed.

It's the 'nest or not' button you need to work with. It's the icon to the left top of the video track header. The one looking like a sequence icon?

If 'active' (blue) it brings any sequence added to the current sequence in the Timeline panel as a "nest" ... showing typically as a single green "clip".

If not active ... gray ... then a sequence added to the current sequence in the Timeline panel comes in as individual clips.

Thank you for the quick answer. Not working on getting mp3 imported. Only a select few are successfully importing with the others receiving the error message. Currently looking for nothing matching yet.

Ahh, mp3 ... that format is problematic in Premiere. It's often better to convert mp3's to wav files prior to import. And yes, it's a very variable problem between mp3 files. Irritating, but again, the quickest is just to convert to wav.
