If I understand what you're asking? you can always duplicate the sequence, and then delete the contents and paste that section from the original sequence.  You can also, make the sequence active in the project or in the timeline and go to the sequence menu and choose sequence settings to see all the specifics such as pixel dimensions, frame rate, etc.
