Hi everyone,
I'm experiencing ongoing issues with multiple Adobe applications - most notably Premiere Pro and After Effects, but also across the suite. The software frequently freezes and goes into “Not Responding” mode, to the point where it’s almost impossible to work.
What’s frustrating is that I recently switched to a much more powerful machine, and I didn’t have these issues on my previous setup, despite working in exactly the same way.
Here’s a comparison of both systems:
Old PC:
Intel Core i9 12th Gen
NVIDIA RTX 3080 SUPER
64GB DDR4 RAM
Windows 10
New PC:
Intel Core i9 14th Gen
NVIDIA RTX 4080 SUPER
64GB DDR5 RAM
Windows 11
In both cases, Adobe software is installed locally, while all project files and media are stored on network drives. This setup worked flawlessly on the old machine. However, on the new system, I'm constantly running into freezing and stability issues.
One key thing I’ve noticed:
When running Premiere, Task Manager shows it's using 100% of the available network bandwidth, something that never happened on the Windows 10 setup. I suspect this is related to the freezing behavior, but I’m not sure why it’s happening now.
Has anyone encountered similar issues on Windows 11 or with newer hardware? I'd really appreciate any insight or solutions.
Thanks in advance!

Hi there,
Do you have any 3rd party plugins installed? And are you on the latest Nvidia Studio drivers?
