I have a problem with extremely slow imports in Premiere on macOS. I am having the same issue with the 2023 and 2024 versions. even really small mp4 clips take forever to import. This makes Premiere literally useless if I cannot import footage.
I've wasted a lot of time trying to figure out. Is there a fix for this?
