Snapping Help

Does anyone know of a method to remove snapping from a particular track and not the whole timeline? In my case, I have a dummy audio track with hundreds of markers on it to mark the beats in the song. I'm using this as a way to edit quickly, having reference to the song however, it would be really useful to remove the magnetisation of this track in certain other tasks during the edit. Currently, my only workaround is deleting the tracks and then re-adding it.

I am aware of the ability to enable and disable snapping with 's' or the magnetic icon. However, this removes the snapping function completely which is useful but not for what I need right now.

I'm currently really up against getting a job done, so please if anyone knows a solution to this. You will be helping me out a lot

Finally, It could be the case that this is not possible, which would be a shame but also fine.

Hope you all have a lovely day and thanks a lot for your time

Premiere Pro 23.0.0 (Build 63): it doesn't work. The page you refer to also doesn't mention snapping. I tried it with a brand new project, created in this version of Premiere. Has it changed or am I overlooking something?

Hi Dotts,
I'd approach it slightly differently. Can you try turning snapping off and using the navigation commands for markers instead? That might work.

Thanks,

Kevin
