Some clips won't respond to effects?

Hi,

I have an adjustment layer stretched across my whole edit in the timeline, but one clip in particular won't respond to the effects applied to the adjustment layer OR effects applied directly to the clip.  

All clips are from the same SD card, camera, and scene that I'm trying to edit. Any idea what could be wrong, here? Thanks!

Please disregard. I figured it out ... Didn't realize I had a duplicate of the video on top of the adjustment layer, at the way top of the timeline. 🤦🏻‍:female_sign:
