Hi all,
My wife has uploaded a bunch of wedding videos to our PC for use in Premiere.
Some of them show the video with 30p and compressed stereo and some appear blank with 30 fps and unknown stereo even though they were all taken and uploaded sequentially.
Anyone know how to access the blank ones that play fine in VLC?
Many thanks in advance.
Next time try a mention the version you are using. Many features change over the course of time.
This looks like CS6. In those days, the iPhone was not even invented yet.
Looks like a codec CS6 does not support.
Need to convert the footage with e.g. Handbrake.

No audio on import of on the timeline?
If latter
The most common user error is not source patching the track.
Solved by first opening clip in Source Monitor. Then drag/insert into timeline.

Hi, thanks for that. It doesn't make sense though because the few files above it imported the same way from the same phone work just fine. Why would some have 30p and some have 30 fps. It's the one's that show 30 fps that don't work.
Cheers

I don't see any 30p vs 30 fps (in fact its the same)
But again, CS6 is from somewhere around 2001. The first iPhone 2007 and yours is probably from 2022............

Don't be surprised a 2001 piece of software glitches on a 2022 format.

Because unsupported things work unpredictably.
