OS: MacOS 13.1
Pr: 22.6.3
16" M1 Macbook Pro
When I open Pr and try to play a clip in the Source Monitor located on my MacBook's screen, with the rest of the interface located on my external 27" QHD HP Monitor connected through Displayport (or vice versa), the Source Monitor doesn't respond to any of my keyboard shortcuts (Play, Set In point, Set Out point, etc). The buttons in the window's interface work, but none of the shortcuts do. The same is true for the Program Monitor if it is on another monitor, separate from the rest of the Pr interface.
I found out that the solution to this is to either dock the Source or Program Monitor into the main interface on my other monitor, and then drag it out again to the secondary monitor, or close the Source/Program Monitor and reopen it again with the Window button in the top menu. This issue only happens once until Pr is restarted, at which point the issue presents itself again without fail.
Although this isn't a critical bug since there's a simple workaround, it's annoying and it would therefore be much appreciated if it could be fixed. Thank you!
Hello @Pierre Louis B.,
Thanks for the message. I do not see other editors commenting or upvoting this bug report. Are you still having this issue, or has the issue subsided? The team will need more info from you to reproduce the bug. Great info already, but can you provide the additional information required here? How do I write a bug report?
I'll move your post to the Discussions board while we await your information.
Thanks,
Kevin
