Mac issue - SRTs exported from Transcripts after 22 July no longer show up when uploaded to Vimeo.

I can't see any differences in the files, but they do not work.

I have tried on 2 machines. Tried reinstalling Premiere and this did not fix issue.

My colleagues have PCs and are unaffected by this. SRTs produced by other apps (eg Aegisub) are unaffected. It is only the SRTs exported from Premiere ... and only those exported after July 22. I have wasted a LOT of time transcribing and exporting ... and I now have a whole load of SRTs that I can't use. Sample SRT (as a text file) attached.

There was a time that I had to open my Premiere exported SRTs in Aegisub and then export them as an SRT in order for them to work properly on Vimeo.  You could give that a try.  Aegisub is freeware.

That issue no longer persists for me in Pr 2020, 14.9.

Seems that Premiere is outputting timings based on the In and Out points on the timeline ... so all TC references in the SRTs are wrong, ie they SHOULD start at 00:00 ...

So the only way it'll work is having ONE video per timeline, and making sure it's butted up to the start.

Crazy.

What version of PR are you running? Most importantly, PR 2020 or earlier vs PR 2021.

Do the captions not show on Vimeo at all, or not as expected (i.e. later on the timeline because of the timecode issue)?

When you refer to transcript, what is the source (particulary, if PR 2021, areyou using the PR based speech to text)?
