Hey There

So i have a question, i make alot of stopmotion videos, but i always have issues with the video review, being really really laggy, even in the first 10 seconds of edited footage, does anyone have any tips on how to improve performance, its undoable editing like this.

I have tried to change my ram preferences and other performace settings but no luck yet...

The video preview is already on 1/4 resolution.

thank you in advance.

It would be helpful to know your workflow. If you are working with stop motion, does this mean that you are importing a ton of image files? If so, what frame size are you working in?

sequence settings are on 1920x1080, 25fps timecode, square pixels and video file format I-Frame Only MPEG  and yes im importing a ton of image files, but only a small portion at a time. and nesting it when the images are edited. so i can edit with it like its a video.

What is the resolution of those images? Premiere can chock on large images.

What are your pc/mac specs?
