I have clips I've exported from Apple Motion in ProRes 4444 with color and alpha. I believe they are premulitplied alpha. However, when I import them into Premiere they are treated as straight alpha and do not render correctly. I'm not sure if Motion isn't tagging them correctly on export or if Premiere isn't recognizing them correctly on import.
My question is... can I force Premiere to treat these clips as premultiplied alpha? If so, how?
Thanks!

Thanks for your quick and succint reply. The Premiere Pro Help system mentions Interpret Footage but doesn't tell one where to find it. I eventually found it just by poking around and it does solve my issue so THANKS!
Do you know if there is a way to then modify the file so if it is imported into a new project it will be interpreted corrctly (without going through Interpret Footage)?

That is the whole idea of short answers: having the user do some digging. 😉
If the footage is imported incorrectly, you will have to go through Interpret footage. No way to prevent that.
Not sure might be a bug.
But you can do all the footage in one go in the project window.
