David,

What version of PR are you using? The 23.4.0 update that came out this past week include the new Text-based Editing and may require a little different process. There are now transcriptions for individual clips, a transcription for a sequence that is based on transcriptions from its component clips, and the transcription of a sequence included previously - now called a "static transcript."

But the basics remain the same. Let's assume you have your sequence and have transcribed Audio Track 1 which is English. And Audio Track 2 is Spanish.

You can only have one transcription at a time for a particular sequence. You can Create Captions for English, Re-transcribe the sequence selecting Audio Track 2, and Create Captions for Spanish - it will create them on a new caption track.

If you are not editing the transcript, no problem. If you are editing your transcript, consider the new Text-based Editing options. If you think you need to preserve each transcript, you can create a duplicate sequence (with all clips, not a nest) and create the second transcript there. Or export the first transcript which you could import later.
