Hello,

Using a PC desktop. There is no audio on playback on Premier Pro. All audio tracks are "unmuted", I've checked the input device (headphones are working with other videos ie YouTube), emptied the media cache. Nothing is working. It happened suddenly.

Thanks.

How do I import a project into Premiere Pro?

Select File > Import, and browse to the project file containing the desired sequence or sequences, and select them. Click Open. In the Import Project dialog box, choose whether to import the entire project or selected sequences, and click OK.

Hello,

Thanks for the speedy reply. I tried resetting preferences, thanks for suggesting, but that did'nt work.

What is interesting is that I am able to hear just fine on other Premier projects, see Test project screenshot below, so it is just this particular project that has no audio on playback.

I notice on the Test project that there are 2 blue boxes, V1 and V2,  to the left of the lock icon. However on the Project screen, those 2 blue boxes are not there.

Here are some screenshots.

Much appreciation,

Alison

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.

Thank you for your suggestion, unfortunately that didn't work either. I just posted some screen shots of what is going on in the thread. My best.
