Suggested workflow for sharing assets using team projects

Hello!

I'm just a small video editor trying to figure out some workflows for sharing assets and files with other editors using team projects.

Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated, here's what I'm trying to achieve.

I will record the source files (video and audio), and then share those files with my editors using Google drive. We will then create a team project file that we can both work on together.

As my editor works on the file, he will add small clips and other graphics to the project which will show up as "offline" on my project since I don't have the source files.

Is there an easy way to set something where we can easily share those small assets we add during post-production?

I've tried using Adobe library to make a shared folder where we can put small assets like these, however, I'm having trouble adding these to my local drive or to the project file and then being able to link the assets to these files.

I hope that makes sense, any advice is greatly appreciated.

Using the frame.io review panel might be one solution? It's great for video review. But also very good at sharing assets.
