Hey guys,

Firts time posting for me so be gentle but I am currently editing a 3-4 minute video and been using dynamic link between PP & AE to remove some significant dust spots and colour replacement/grading. Now all of a sudden I have getting the colour tv screen/test card show on a clip on both apps. Unsure what this means and I have turned colour management on/off with no result. The clip specifically is overexposed but I dont think this would be an issue?

Looking for any guidance as there isn't much out there I can find.

Thanks!Screenshot 2024-11-19 at 9.48.44 am.png

That indicates offline media.

Hey Peru Bob,

Thanks for the reply but compared to when the red screen comes up on PP saying 'Media is offline', how is the test card different?

Thanks

That is the way After Effects displays offline media.

Ohk I see, I think I just worked it out as well. I was trying to reopen compositions/clips that I had already created a composition for in AE so it was freaking out and saying the file was offline due to it is already a composition and not the original file/clip!

Thanks for your help as well!
