Hi Robin!

Sorry about that. We can get this checked.

  • Can you let us know the exact version of macOS?
  • What type of media files are you editing (codec/ format, frame rate, frame size)?

Let us know.

Thanks,

Kartika

Hi Kartika,

thanks for you replay.

my current version of macOS is Big Sur 11.4.

Premiere Version 15.2.0

The Original Media files Data are:

Video Codec HVEC 10bit 4:2:0
Frame Size 3840x2160
Fps: 30
Mpeg Movie

In Premiere I converted the files to ProRes and work with the following data:

Quick Time Movie(ProRes 422)
Frame Size: 1920 x 1080
Fps: 25

no matter which of these media files the effects do not work.
I have uninstalled Premiere, installed again, created new sequences, projects, nothing helps.

VR effects are designed to use on VR footage.

If the footage is not VR then you get the error message.

Might try an Adjustment layer.

I don't use VR Footage. I use footage recorded with iPhone. But the effect in Premiere call for example VR Digital Glitch. Its also works with any file before. It's does not work with Adjustment Layer either.

As said before, these effects are designed for VR footage.

If they don't work on regular footage, they don't work: end of story.

All these effects have also worked in previous Premiere versions, templates etc.. Without VR footage. I could show you enough material where these have been used. So they also work with normal footage!! End of Story!!
