I recently upgraded my Mac Pro (Late 2013) to Big Sur. Using Premiere Pro (15.4.1) everything has been working so far (except Boris Continuum Complete but it is an older version so not bothered).
My problem arose when I tried to export some clips with Timecode Overlay. There are just boxes in the overlay where the numbers should be. This usually means Text Missing but I have not deleted any fonts nor have I added any. The same thing happens for the Timecode Overlay in the Effects Panel. (Side Note: the Name Overlay in the Export Window works correctly so I am stumped.)
It seems to be an issue with how Big Sur uses its system default font. If anyone else has had this problem and knows a workaround, let me know! Thanks.
