Hello!
This is my first time posting here, and this is a new bug that is bothering me and making my job a little harder and slower.
I like to edit my videos fasting forward sometimes. And now every time I try the video goes but the timeline cursor stops.
Can someone help me with this bug.
I attached a video that explain better what is going on.

PS: Sorry if I made some English mistakes, it is not my first language.

I'm experience the same problem. It's very annoying. Do you have a fix yet?

Have you tried resetting Premiere prefernces?

I remember having similiar issue once in the past and resetting preferences helped.

Or try first to reset your workspace. It seems to work sometimes in similiar situations. I noticed your play button hasn't changed in Program Monitor when you were moving your playhead in the Timeline.

Thanks for your quick reply! I'm afraid resetting the preferences didn't work, nor did resetting the workspace.

What did help a little was deleting the media cache. After doing that I was able to hit L twice without losing the playhead.

Have you tried resetting preferences and/or reseting your workspace?
Reset your preferences by holding shift+alt (or option) when you launch Premiere

Hi!

Yes, I tried resetting my presets and workspace and the bug continues.
I also deleted all the cache media.

I noticed that this only happens with videos that came from HDSLR, videos from smartphone I can fast-forward without the bug.
