Timeline:Mark in and out problem

Hey! 

As default, when you are working inside the Timeline, the "Delete" button will delete all clips within the "In" and "Out" area. Is it possible to stop Premiere from doing this? I've plenty of times – accidentally – deleted all the clips within this area 😞
