Playback in the timeline stutters if I have a multicam sequence with more than one camera up in the Source. Opening a multicam sequence with one camera into the source, or hiding the source window results in smooth playback. The cameras play just fine in the source, it's only the timeline that has the issue, and only when multiple cameras are visible in the source window.
This occurs regardless of video codec and size, or if the proxy workflow is enabled.
