Title with startbutton

New Here ,
Jun 18, 2024 Jun 18, 2024

In a DVD menu you can click a button to start any movie. We don't make DVDs by now, time goes on and we move on to e.g. mp4.

In digital files, such as mp4, we want create a start title with, say, 3 of more items with a startbutton. I want to find the possibility to be able to start any (linked) part of the movie of your choice from a menu in an mp4 (or other, like .mov) export.

Maybe something like a link from the start menu to a point in the movie, just like DVDs used to do in Encore.

I asked the helpdesk how to do this: is (still) not possible, maybe a new possibility?

Hoi Rob,

This isn't possible (anymore) with the Adobe DVA tools. While Adobe does offer interactivity in applications like Captive, Animate and InDesign, you might want to check out opensource tools like H5P: https://50wheel.com/h5p/ for simple interactivity.

Maybe try something like Powerpoint or Keynote. Export your video files from Premiere and then make a menu which points to the files in one of those applications.
