Track Matte & Opacity

Question Community,

I love to use Track Matte key to reveal video through text. I like to use another layer of the same video clip underneath all and lower the opacity.

Here what I am trying to achieve if to have the video showing first and gradually make the video appear through the text. And I am not sure to make that happen. What I have tried is to play with the opacity of the text, start at 0 and few frames later bring it to 100. but it is not revealing anything.

Any thoughts?
