Transcribing Crashes Premiere with Remix Track

When I transcribe sequences, I usually have "Mix" selected... in my most recent project I had an mp3 music track on track 2 and had it remixed and every time I clicked Transcribe, Premiere crashed. But when I switched it to Track 1, it transcribed fine, I'm thinking it's having trouble with the remixed audio file.

I tend to avoid mp3's in favor of wav. But I think it should work.

I did a quick test wth an mp3 and it did not crash; transcribed, but not very accurate. Announcer on video with a music mp3; not a pretty combination!

What type of mp3 content?
