Transcript and Captions not updating together. Only Captions Panel edits reflect in video

When I edit in the Transcript panel, the edits remain, but the video does not update to reflect changes, nor does the edit also appear in the Caption penel.  If I edit in the Caption panel, the edits DO appear in the video, but those edits are not reflected back the Transcript panel.  

I am on the lastest version of 24.3.0 (Build 56).

If you edit the transcript, you must recreate the captions to get them to update. And caption edits do not, and can not, go back to the transcript.

Are you in 23.4 and using source transcriptions? Or still in 23.3 or before and using sequence transcription?
