So here's the incrediblt frustrating mystery: when I use Transcript to auto-generate a transcript of footage of a talking head recorded on a Audio-Technica AT4053B Hypercardioid Condenser Microphone via a Canon R8 (with seperate phantom power supply) Primiere says "No dialgue found" or trancribes no more than 2 words . . . then I recorded playback of the original footage using my iPhone, and put that into my timeline, and Premiere did transcribe the iPhone recording of my original recording.
Obviously this does me no good. I need the original footage transcribed. The quality of the original recording is not the issue, because my iPhone's recording of the original recording is good enough for Transcript.
How do I fix this? Please help. Thank you. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the current version of Premiere as well as older versions. Did not solve the problem.
Adobe Premiere 24.1.0
Macbook Pro Ventura 16.4

Hi @Micah Snacks,
sorry to hear that the transcription is not working properly for your footage.
Is it possible to share one of the audio files that didn't deliver an accurate transcript with me? I want to reproduce this on my end to find out why it's not working as expected. Did you add any audio effects to the clip?
Thanks a lot,
Kerstin
