Hi,

I hope this is a very easy fix for many of you.

I spent 4 hours filming, got to my computer, and dragged the files directly to my Premiere timeline. Now, it's saying that the files are offline and when I looked in the folder, they are completely gone from my computer.

I've tried locating them on the hard drive, in the trash can, and in the folder, but I'm so sad I don't see them anywhere.

Can anyone help me, please?

Dragging is a bad habit. Most likely your files are still on the card but not on your PC hence the offline media.

You have to copy/paste the files first from camera(card) to hdd. Then you ingest from the hdd into Premiere.
