Hey, this really annoying thing has started happening in my Premiere Pro.

I have my media browser tab showing with the project tab beside it in the same little dock. Whenever I drop a clip into the timeline it automatically switches to the project tab. Then I have to click back into the media browser to find other clips. And again when dropping one in it will switch back over.

This has only started happening in the last few weeks and I cannot find a setting anywhere to change it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I just tested in the current release 23.5.0. a) As you say, the new behavior exists there. b) The workaround appears to work. Move Media Browser into its own group, so you can see Project Panel, Media Browser, and Timeline no matter which one has focus. Media Browser will still be visible when you end in the Timeline panel.
