I'm not a fan of when people right click on a clip on the timeline and choose "gain" to decrease volume of a clip because it makes the waveform height go down and look smaller. thats what I love about changing the volume in the effects control tab, it doesnt reduce the size of the waveforms...... until now..... This seems like a bug and makes it a lot more difficult to see definitive waveform patterns when the waveform lengths get smaller when i reduce the volume. Please fix this. Premiere 25.2.0 (Build 147), Mac OS Sequoia 15.3.2
This isn't a bug. This is the dynamic waveforms in action. If you prefer, you can disable Dynamic Waveforms by going to the Menubar>View>Dynamic Waveforms
If you turn down gain, waveform height should decrease; this is 100% accurate.
