Sometimes I cannot delete the crop tool form the effect controls section. I select the file on which the CROP effect has applied and then in the effect controll panel I slect the crop effect, I press delete, but then the CROP effect does not get deleted. There is no reaction. When I then sleect another effect, like Lumetri, in the same panel, with still the same file selected and press delete agin, this effect does get deleted as should be expected. So thgis aonly happens to the crop effect, for as far as I know.
This bug has been like this for quite some years now. I can only disable it, so turn off the effect. And then the next day, probably because everything has restarted and reloaded, this problem is gone - also temporarily, bacause it will come back later again. I use crop a lot and yes there are ways to work around this, but a bug is a bug.
I work on a Mac Studio, my system and adobe software are always up to date.
