Unable to delete Premiere Pro Preview folder and causing iMac to be restarted

New Here ,
May 20, 2025 May 20, 2025

In an attempt to clear space of my iMac i was deleting some old .prv files and found that the files for one project would not delete. I would put them into the trash and then attempt to empty it but by doing that it would say "deleting 0 files" for over an hour and should I try to cancel the operation it would require me to restart my mac.

I believe the folder is corrupted but after looking everywhere I cant seem to find a way of getting rid of it! Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @jamese45832492 -
Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.
Please see, How do I write a bug report?

There are ways to force your iMac to delete folders in the trash that you can google.

Is this causing issues with Premiere Pro or is this just a macOS issue?

Sorry for the frustration.
