Unable to drag multiple clips into timeline!

Currently running macOS Big Sur (11.4) on Premiere Pro 15.4.0 - and am suddenly unable to drag and drop multiple clips into a sequence.

I can drag a single clip into any timeline - but when I select any group, even two clip that individually would drop into the timeline - I just see the little hand with the (/) 'circle with a diagonal line through' symbol.

Yes both V and A are activated, no other issues. I've reset preferences, reset workspace, tried selecting all and creating a sequence from selection (it just gives me an empty timeline).

Any help out there? I can only work at a snails pace with this issue.
