Unable to record VO in premiere 2021

Hi!!

Im trying to do a VO in Premiere 2022. All the settings are checked in preferences timeline both input / output are set and also in security the acces is set to premiere. As I can see every single box i checked that is needed too. But aperently something is missing. I hear the sound loud and clear but it dosent record anything. Im on Mac bookpro using Sound Blaster K3. I read other threads of ppl having kinda same issue but it was solved with the security settings. This is not the case here..this gives me a feeling of throwing out the cpt thru the window. Thx for understanding a desperate man 😄

Make sure you have in and out point set.
