The unsharp mask, on the latest version of PP of mine, wheather it is used on an adjustment layer (on the very top or very bottom) or even in the clip, makes an annoying tint shift towards green.

This is happening in different projets.

Here bellow are two screenshots.

Any clue on this problem?

Thank you very much.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about this. Is this happening with any specific media type or is it with all of them? Also, have you tried switching the Renderer to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only & checked if it's working properly?

Thanks,

Sumeet

This solves the issue as a bandaid but why does it exist to begin with? Switching to software only gives the whole clip a green shift. Which am I supposed to color correct for?

I'm also encountering this. I don't do a done of sharpening so I haven't noticed it before, but there's definitely a noticeable shift to green using unsharp mask. It's pretty easily corrected, but annoying.
