v22 Fails. Laggy playback... stuttering source window on all footage.

I've lost faith in this product. I'm going to have to go back to 15.4 just because thats the last time it worked like butter. I cant edit like this - everything takes too long with the stuttering and laggy playback. It feel like it is hogging every resource n the PC (high spec btw) and Ive lost faith in it. 

Will check back to see if they do anything to make it work properly. - but I feel this is premiere on its last days. - may have to look for other options.

Did you delete all media cache before opening any project?

Me Too. It does not work. Playback stutter. Not like a lag but really like stuttering.
