V24.4.1 Takes ages to export and the video has green flashing throughout

I've updated to 24.4.1 and now anytime I try to export my work it takes ages to export, for example what would usually take 8 minutes is taking over 3 hours and it knocks the guts out of my Mac... litrally taking all the power just to export (This isn't normal) and when it's done the video is full of green flashing. I had this issue in the version before that as well.  I'd like to be able to use the new versions.

My computer is:

Apple MacBook Pro

2.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB

I've been using this laptop with Premiere Pro for years and haven't had any issues before this new update.

How can I mend this please?

Thank you.

Kind Regards,

Ben.

The fix is not within Premiere but rather your hardware.

Green usually means issues with your GPU.

How old is your machine?

I bought it new in 2017 but it says MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) so I assume it's actually from 2015.

It is fully up to date with MacOS Monterey 12.7.5

I agree it's usually GPU issues, Im hoping there is a fix for it ideally.

Thanks Ann.

Right, so have you any suggestions on what?

Being a Mac I can't just buy a new GPU. I did suspect that might be the case because that happened to my old Laptop but with that one it wouldn't even install the new Premiere.

So there are no ways to make it work with my current GPU is that what you're saying?
