I've updater my MacBookPro M1 Pro to Ventura 13.4 and have experienced extreme slow performance in every simple task on Premiere Pro 23.4

Any ideas?

So far it sounds like this may be OS specific and Apple M1 hardware specific. Is it slow with a new project and sequence and doing something very simple without media like creating a text or shape layer in the Program Monitor? I'll update my own M1 system to OS Ventura 13.4 to see if I can replicate a problem. In the meantime, can you all the do some of the basic troubleshooting things to make sure it's not just problem specific to your systems?

ditto. I've had issues on a 2022 Macbook Pro M1 64 gig as well as a 2019 Mac Pro 128 gig. Brutal.
