Hey,

I'm having problems with Proxies and Vertical Video.

I have Sony a7 Footage that was shot vertical. But when I try to make Proxies for this footage it squishes the image together?

I'm using adobe presets, and it should copy the file deminsions automatically, but it nots.

Any help would be appreciated!

I'd suggest manually creating a proxy setting and using that.  Not particularly simple or intuitive but worth figuring it out.  if you want me to walk you thru the process, post back...

mgrenadier,

Thank you so much for the reply.

I've tried manually creating an Ingest Preset. The problem I run into is it will not allow me to manually set the Pixel Dimensions. Thus, when I use The Preset I run into the same problem.

I've tried creating an Encoding Preset which does allow me to adjust the Pixel Dimensions, but Premiere Pro will not allow me to use an Encoding Preset on creating proxies with Ingest.

I'm tried using Media Browser while importing footage simultaniously add the Encoding Preset as it's importing, and I run into the same problem with it squishing my footage.
