I have an 1h 30m edit shot with 2 sony FX6s in UHD resolution.

I ended up with usually 2 multicam tracks with 2 camera angles in each track and 8 audio tracks in total.

Export is a normal H264 1080p, nothing fancy

The problem is that export takes about 3 4 hours with the audio enabled which is way to much and it also takes a ton for Media Encoder to "prepare audio clips". It says that it has to prepare about 61 clips and it goes pretty fast but on the last clip the progress bar stops at aroun 80% completion and just stays there for about 5 mins until the actual render starts.

If I just export with no audio it takes a normal amount of time for a 1080p clip from a 2160p footage, about 20 mins.

If I only export the audio without the video it still takes about 40 mins. Uncompressed WAV, AAC, it all goes the same way.

So something is "wrong" with the audio part, never happened before even with a longer project like this one.

I'm exporting the audio and video separately now to save some time but this is really annoying to have to work this way.

Any ideas that might help?

Well, audio files can be huge sometimes but this sounds very weird.

Hope you find a solution.
